Maggie La Tourelle is a writer, speaker, therapist and educator in the field of holistic healthcare and wellbeing. For thirty years she has been integrating psychotherapy, NLP, kinesiology and energy work. She brings a natural creativity and passion to what she does and underpinning everything is a conscious awareness.
People say Maggie is the radical voice in Alzheimer’s challenging conventional wisdom. Her new book, The Gift of Alzheimer’s, provides an informative and moving account of her journey with her mother who had Alzheimer’s, and offers a comprehensive guide for those involved in caring for people with the disease. Another of her books, Principles of Kinesiology, continues to be a worldwide classic (revised edition, JKP, February 2013).
She maintains a holistic therapy practice in London, has lectured at some of the UK’s leading universities and has been running professional training courses in holistic healthcare for many years.
Maggie brings to her work a depth and breadth of experience from her life in the diverse fields of community work, education and business and, having originally trained as an art teacher, continues to enjoy doing design work.
She is a honorary member of The Kinesiology Federation (KF) and The Association for Systematic Kinesiology (ASK), a member of The British Assoc. for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP), The Assoc. for Therapeutic Healers (ATH), The Scientific and Medical Network (SMN) and The Guild of Health Writers (GHW) Assoc.

I have had a life-long interest in anomolous psychological states and Altered States of Consciousness (ASR). I have now written two books on the subject and I am keen to hear from individuals who experience deja vu, precognitions, Out-of-Body Experiences (the subject of my next book), time slips, migraine, temporal lobe epilepsy and particularly people who feel that they have a “spirit guide”.
