The Strangest Feeling: Deja Vu. 18th April 2018
18 April, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm BST
£12Déjà vu (French for “already seen”) is a fleeting altered-state of consciousness that has been reported throughout history and is found in all cultures. A recent survey suggested that up to 70% of human beings will experience that sense of uncanny recognition of a place or set of circumstances at least once in their lives.
So what exactly is Déjà vu? In this fascinating lecture internationally best-selling author Anthony Peake will review the history, science and cultural impact of this strange perception. He will argue that Déjà vu (or more accurately, Deja Vecu – “already lived”) may be a clue to something of profound importance with regards to many other ongoing-mysteries of consciousness….. a concept he calls “Cheating The Ferryman.”
Anthony Peake will be hoping for audience feed-back at this event. So if you have experienced déjà vu in its many variations, particularly if you have experienced precognitive déjà vu sensations, this lecture simply cannot be missed.
