What to Expect
The event will take place at Drakelow Tunnels, a former top-secret military base and Cold War era nuclear bunker.
Once inside the tunnels, participants will begin with a session on the Lucia no.3 hypnagogic light machine, followed by a ‘Seventh Ray’ virtual reality experience. During the Seventh Ray, participants explore ‘out-of-body’ sensations (Outraspectre) using somatic technology, taking inspiration from thousands of years of ‘Mystery Schools’ all over the ancient world.
Next, a Neurosycholytic workshop – another chance to explore the benefits of the Lucia no.3 combined with special breathwork techniques.
Finally, at the culmination of the participants mythic journey, while they are somewhat between the worlds, they will be invited to take part individually into an experiment into precognition – the ostensible ability to know aspects of the future.
The day’s explorations will be linked together by writer Anthony Peake, who will personally guide the group through the tunnel complex, whilst narrating the story of Plato’s cave and how these ideas still inform and resonate today.
