News Update

13th February 2010: The first of my North Manchester FM radio interviews was great fun yesterday. Julie and I covered a lot of subjects from deja vu to progressive rock! Looking forward to the next one.

11th February 2010: Recorded my third interview for Aeon Byte Radio of Chicago, USA today. Myself and Miguel touched on some fascinating topics. If you wish to download this or any of the previous interviews see the details under 3rd January.

7th February 2010: I was delighted to be invited to do a lecture for the Society for Psychical Research in London, which went ahead on 4th February. An audience of over 70 seemed very appreciative and I thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Thank you to the several forum members who came to support me. My thanks also to the Secretary to the Society, Peter Johnson for a well organised event.

11th January 2010: I have been informed that the Dutch language edition of my second book, The Daemon, will be published in March 2010.

3rd January 2010: The Gnostic website and radio station Aeon Byte will be regularly featuring interviews with me. These will be recorded on a fortnighly basis and will be posted on the site a few days after recording. Myself and the interviewer, Miguel Conner, intend to build up a complete library that will be feely avialable for download. Check these out at:www.thegodabovegod.com.

14th December 2009: John Barnes of BBC Lancashire. interviewed me for the second time.

13th December 2009: I was informed that Hollywood legend Shirley MacLaine was planning to read my books in the next few weeks.

11th December 2009: The long awaited Rumanian language edition of my first book has now been released. The title is "Exista viata dupa moarte?"

8th December 2009: The Spanish language edition of my first book has been published in both Mexico and Spain. I am hopeful that these books will open up a whole new market for me. It is entitled "Somos Inmortales" and is published by Editorial Kairos. This publisher has some of the biggest names in my field so I am really delighted about this.

4th December 2009: I was interviewed by Julie of North Manchester FM.

13th November 2009: BBC TV requested a copy of my first book for review. The audience response was so good to my BBC Merseyside interview that the TV guys are now interested.

11th November 2009: My first spot on BBC Radio Merseyside went really well. Dr. Art Funkhouser phoned through from Switzerland to discuss the deja phenomenon.

31st October 2009: BBC Merseyside were so delighted with the listener response to my recent interview with Billy Butler that I have now been offered my own regular slot on Billy's show. This will be broadcast live on FM and DAB every two weeks starting on Monday 9th of November. This will involve a phone-in facility should anybody wish to join me. The planned broadcast time will be from 3:00pm to 3:30pm (GMT). The next show after this will be 21st November. This can be listened to on-line atThe Billy Butler Show.

21st October 2009: Copies of both my previous books have been purchased for the library at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. Plans are also underway for me to do a lecture there in October 2010. For the announcement click here.

19th October 2009: I did a further two hour interview with Tamara Westward of Illuminations Radio of Seattle, Washington State. This is available to listen again or download at Illuminations Radio.

15th October 2009: A two-hour special featuring the latest developments in my work was broadcast by Sovereign Mind Radio, Hollywood,USA. 12th October 2009. This site had 672 visits yesterday! This may be to do with the Five LIve Interview.

11th October 2009: My first-ever national radio interview took place in the early hours of the 11th October 2009. I was interviewed by Stephen Nolan on his show of the same name on BBC Five Live. Response has been amazing.

9th of October 2009: This site has suddenly become very popular in Rumania. Great to see you guys checking us out. I suspect this means that the Rumanian language edition of my first book has been published in that beautiful country. I wonder what that old Transylvanian Count Dracula (as a member of the un-dead) will make of "Cheating The Ferryman"?

8th October 2009: My interview last night with John Barnes was broadcast live on both BBC Manchester and BBC Lancashire. What was planned for a one hour interview and phone-in was extended to 90 minutes.

30th September 2009: I was interviewed by Billy Butler of BBC Merseyside.

22nd August 2009: Yesterday I was back at Edge Media TV to record an interview with Nick Margerisson. Nick has interviewed my twice on his KERRANG! radio show and was keen to have me as a guest on his new TV show. Also interviewed with me was FORUM TOPIC mediator Karl L LeMarcs (A Dark Philosopher). I am still awaiting confirmation of actual broadcast date. This will be updated here and on the BLOG.

7th August 2009: My first USA appearance (3rd August)was a great success with over 300 people turning up to the Grand Ballroom at Manhattan's Roosevelt Hotel. For further news on this please check out my FORUM on this site.

26th July 2009: The National Theatre "Platform Event" was a stunning success. The audience was over 300 and I was asked a few interesting questions regarding the time theories of J.W.Dunne. Those of you who have read my books are aware that I am attempting to update Dunne's theories in the light of 21st century science and philosophy. Afterwards I did a booksigning and every single copy of my first book in the NT Bookshop was sold! Indeed only two copies of "The Daemon" were left at the end.

25th July 2009 My first TV appearance on Edge Media Television (Sky Channel 200) seemed to be successful if the responses to the Edge Media FORUM is anything to go by. (Edge Media TV FORUM). I was on-air for a full two hours and it seemed like ten minutes!

18th July 2009. On Saturday 4th of July an interview with me was recorded by the Gnostic radio station "Aeon Byte". I was interviewed by Miguel Connor. This nicely follows on from the Gnostic focus of my interview with William Henry. This will be available for listening and download on the 18th July. Check it out at www.thegodabovegod.com.

25th June 2009: My theory has been referenced in an article on "Life After Death" by Bob Rickard in the "Fortean Times Paranormal Handbook". A copy of this can be found at all major newsagents in the UK, including W.H.Smiths and Borders Stores. Bob considers that my theory is both exciting and very promising and that my writing is pointing the way to an "explanation of both the nature of consciouness and its independence of from the physical body - indeed to a new theory of death and how it may be survived".(Page 119).

11th June 2009: This site received a record number of visits yesterday, 419! Every State in the USA, with the strange exception of North Dakota, was represented with multiple visits.

10th June 2009: My interview with William Henry of Revelations has now been posted. I was delighted to have the opportunity to discuss the Gnostic aspects of my theory with somebody clearly very knowledgeable in this area. The interview can be listened to at William Henry's "Revelations Radio"

3rd June 2009: The National Theatre wish to film an interview with me at Prescott Musuem in Liverpool. This will take place on Saturday 6th June and the interview will be placed on the NT website. This is a real honour for me.

20th May 2009: As a result of the international popularity of "Red Ice Radio" the last few days has seen a record number of visits to this site.

16th May 2009: I was interviewed by Sweden's "Red Ice Radio". This turned out to be a two hour marathon with some fascinating questions for me to answer. Full details can be found on The FORUM.

16th May 2009:I met up with Tom Priestley, the son of the playwright J.B. Priestley at The Playhouse in Liverpool. He was fascinated by my theories on time and he would like to invite me to give a paper at the 2010 J.B.Priestley Society Meeting.

1st May 2009: I was interviewed at home by Richard Holland, editor of the magazine PARANORMAL. This will be published at the end of May and will also feature an article written by me.

30th April 2009: My tenure as "Author of the Month" (AoM) on the Graham Hancock website has come to an end. I am delighted to say that the number of responses and comments have been the second highest in the history of this award. I would like to thank all who contributed. 23rd April 2009: I have been invited to present a paper at the Third Annual "Philip K Dick Day" at Nottingham Trent University.

17th April 2009: I am now in direct contact with Philip K Dick's widow Tessa. She has commented very favourably on my work and has joined my FORUM.

3rd April 2009: I am delighted to advise that The Daemon has been reviewed in Fortean Times by their Founding Editor, Bob Rickard. See issue FT248 for the review. Bob awarded the book a verdict of 9 out of 10 which is very gratifying.

21st March 2009: I am pleased to advise that I have been selected to be "Author of the Month" for April on the very popular Graham Hancock website. 14th March 2009: My longest radio interview to date has just been posted by North Carolina's radio station "Shadows In The Dark". This is a full hour and forty five minutes with no advert breaks or music. This interview, conducted by Jeremiah Greer, went into some very interesting areas. Give it a listen at Disclose TV. 10th March 2009: I have been invited to participate in a "Platform Event" at the National Theatre in London. I will be on stage at the Lyttleton Theatre on the 24th of July 2009. The event will take place before a performance of J.B. Priestley's "Time & The Conways". I will be discussing the time theories of J.W.Dunne with particle physicist Professor Jeff Forshaw of Manchester University. 20th October 2008: I have now received from my publisher copies of the Dutch edition of Is There Life After Death?. This is called Leven Na Leven Na Leven (Life After Life After Life), perhaps a much better title? I look forward to hearing from my Dutch readers.

8th August 2008: Good news on sales of the Polish edition of Is There Life After Death?, entitled in Polish "Czy istnieje zycie po smierci?" - nearly 5,000 sales in the first 3 months after publication. It would be great to hear from Polish readers with their views.

11th July 2008: The new Forum is now up and working. I am really pleased with how it looks. This will be more a question and answer and comment type format than my blogsite. You do not need my involvement to join in the discussions - just log in and comment!!

13th May 2008: I have been contacted by a group of Australian psychiatrists fascinated by my theory. They wish to involve me in their forthcoming project to educate medical professionals with regard to Near-Death Experience (NDE). They have also invited me to contribute a chapter and join the editorial team to their planned book which will support this project.

21st April 2008: My publisher, Arcturus, have confirmed that they have successfully negotiated two more foreign language deals for Is There Life After Death?. This means that we will have Spanish and Czech language editions to add to the Dutch, Polish and Russian editions.
