A Proposal for moving forward

Postby Anthony Peake » Fri Feb 10, 2012 10:17 am

Okay, here is the solution. I will chat to my web designer this morning to discuss the viability of setting up a new website to host the Forum. I wish the new Forum, containing all the old postings to be called something different. The direct association with me must be broken. I want others to take full responsibilty for it (in a similar way to how other writers like Graham Hancock do it with their discussion forums). I will post occasionally but from now on all my news will be posted on the "news" section of my Forum. This new forum will be fully independent of me and the responsibility for its future design and upkeep will be with others. I am now looking for volunteers to form a committee to run it for me, the more the merrier. This can be time consuming so only offer if you are willing to donate at least an hour or two a week to keeping it going. Each section will need a new monitor set up (or the present one if they are still keen). The registering of new members will be the responsibility of the Committee and monitors as will the policing of comments and postings. I do not wish to be involved in this as the Forum will belong to its members, not me. I will be posting this announcement on my Facebook Wall and on the ITLAD Walker Group site. We may also have time to discuss this on Sunday's Peake Experience web TV show. This can work but I do need your support .....

Well its with some relief that we are still going to have a forum where people can come together and explore the stimulating and interesting ideas that you have been responsible for bringing to our attention. I am prepared to help out in anyway I can just let me know when I am needed for any on-line meeting!

Jan, the webmaster responsible for this forum has just, at my request, bought the the domain names http://www.cheatingtheferryman.com and http://www.cheatingtheferryman.co.uk

Early next week Jan will move this Forum over to the new domain name. The Forum will then cease to be called the "Anthony Peake" Forum and will be renamed simply "Cheating The Ferryman". This means that the name Anthony Peake and my logo will disappear from the header and be replaced by the new name. From then onwards my involvement will simply be as a normal member with no other privileges. "Administration" will also be handed over to the new Monitor Team together with a reapportion of responsibilities for each thread.

I have already had five members volunteer to be part of the Committee for the new site. I am sure that more will volunteer as time goes on.

From then on the direction and structure of the Forum will be in the hands of that committee.

Cheers

Tony

I may not post here much, but I read from time to time.

I think this is a wonderful idea, Tony. :)

Good job not giving into the trolls! This site is much better for it.

Thanks Ryan. I have been amazed at the level of support I have received from emails and private messages on here and an avalanche of comments on Facebook. I am sure that this is the correct way forward in thatb this Forum ceases to be my "voice" and is owned by its contributors .... they way it should be.

Best Wishes

Tony

Hello and Good luck for the new forum,
I'm always taking a great pleasure reading all the post by various people and I surely be lurking and posting in the new one. Good luck, Tony, keep on the good work. At least, you'll be having more time to write.
Best,

I don't have enough technical expertise to help in the running of the forum but I just want to say how delighted I am that it will continue. There isn't another forum remotely like this one in terms of the issues being discussed. Thank you so much, everyone.

Hello there fellow "lovers of the light!" I am a new forum member, and I have been following Anthony on Red Ice Radio. I love him! Perhaps because he seems to me like a catalyst, someone who unites us all, and helps us acknowledge our multi dimensional selves. Sort of helps keep me sane amidst my way out visions and insights, that always made me feel alienated from main stream thinking from a very eary age.

I live in Italy. A country that has been caught in the grip of of its stunning history, as well as hundreds of years of corruption. The Roman church is not considered here. However, saying that the fall out is spiritual conformism, mainstream thinking, being down on things like homeopathy, shamanism, etc. However, saying that the two percent who are fighting to change, are fighting free, but need input and inspiration. Being a foreigner here is an advantage, because most foreigners are considered nuts anyway, and get away with far more.

We have small theatre here in Scansano, in the Tuscan Maremma. We are creating theatrical productions together with creative folks, dancers and poets, writers and shamans. We are beginning the season on 21 April with a dance interpretation of what limitation and ignorance is compared to freedom and illumination, and then a presentation with slides and counter culture information, something almost unheard of in the Tuscan countryside.

If anyone happens to be passing through Tuscany in April, and wants to join in the fun and get to know a group of "on the edge" Italians who desperately need support, and input, please do not hesitate to pop in. We can arrange very cheap hospitality, as well as organise a fun time for you. I can translate for anyone who wants to contribute their message on stage, or amongst us.

Cultural exchange, talking quantum, edging the limits, and floating the light are on the agenda. :D

God bless you all, and God bless Anthony who is my inspiration.
