IT SEEMS THAT ALL THE LINKS BELOW ARE POINTING TO A DISCONTINUED URL. WE ARE CHECKING THIS OUT.

In a recent posting Forum member MacabreMagpie asked for an up-to-date list of Peake Experience Shows and a link to where these shows can be downloaded. Below you will find the latest link. This really is a treasure trove of information about all things itladian. We are missing the latest show with Rick Osmon which I will add to the list in the next few days. Each interviewee is a recognised expert in their field and each show lasts two hours .... a real opportunity to deep really deeply into the true nature of the Bohmian IMAX.

I am delighted to announce that the next Peake Experience Show will be broadcast on Sunday (18th December) at 1700 UK time. My guest will be Forum moderator, and best-selling author, Steve Taylor.

Steve has written a series of amazing books, including a fascinating book on time perception entitled Making Time.

His latest book is entitled Out of the Darkness and it is a terrific read. Steve's book, contains stories from all different people, from all walks of life, who have experienced dramatic ‘awakening’ experiences, from situations like near death experiences, illness, trauma, alcohol and drug addictions, suicide attempt and even death itself. He also has an extensive interview with Eckhart Tolle. This book can be found at http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/1848502540/ref=cm_cr_asin_lnk

His website is: http://www.stevenmtaylor.com.

His blog is: http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/out-the-darkness

and he is also on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Steve-Taylor-author/141779795872587?ref=ts#!/profile.php?id=100001239434555

Tony: I look forward to reading some of Steve's books.

In "Out Of The Darkness: From Turmoil to Transformation" on the cover is a butterfly; see also the cover for Aster Barnwell's new book, Hidden Treasure ... another butterfly ( Aster Barnwell's books and their covers, etc., can be seen referenced at http://www.AsterBarnwell.com ). :D

See the butterfly on the cover of HT here: http://www.asterbarnwell.com/hidden_treasure__jesus_s_message_of_transformation_111228.htm

Aster Barnwell briefly chronicles his own dramatic awakening experience in the Introduction to "Hidden Treasure: Jesus's Message of Transformation" ( see pages 3 thru 6 in HT, and the discussion that follows in the section "My Search For Context" ).

After that awakening experience, it seems, and over time, i.e., after adjusting to the effects of the experience, Aster Barnwell was able to intuitively decipher layers of meaning in Biblical stories such that he lays bare a system of transformational psychology that can be clearly discerned in various stories in the Bible, like the Sermon on the Mount and others; decisively showing that literal interpretations of Biblical stories so often widely miss the mark.

Interesting stuff.

All the best

Cam

Thanks Mac. I am really keen to read Aster's books. I am sure that there will be a good deal of overlap with what Steve will have to say tomorrow.

Best Wishes

Just checked to see if the Dec 18th show with Steve Taylor was up yet ... have to wait a bit longer. Did see the Nov 13th show posted though, one not yet in Tony's list above, i.e. :

Nov 11: Rick & Tony: http://www.soupmedianetwork.com/?p=5275 ... described as follows ...

"This is an unusual edition of The Peake Experience. Anthony’s scheduled guest could not make it, so Anthony and Rick interviewed one another about their latest respective books, The Out-of-Body Experience: The History and Science of Astral Travel and The Graves of the Golden Bear: Ancient Fortresses and Monuments of the Ohio Valley. Hi Cam,
I hope things are going well for you over there in British Columbia.... And thanks for spitting this. I will add it to the list.

The interview with Steve went really well. As Steve has observed in an email to me today, we complement each other in that his approach is psychological whereas mine is neurological and neurochemical. In this way we were able to have a fascinating two hour discussion on the nature of encounters with the noetic.

It is hoped that the recording of the show will be posted just after Christmas, if not sooner. Unfortunately we had some technical problems but Rick is hopeful that he can sort them out.

As always, great to have your involvement on here. You have been a part of this whole itladian adventure from it's earliest days and I am really appreciate your support.

Tony: At 11:11 pm PST ( co-incidentally ) I checked for the show with Steve Taylor, but nothing yet. Two other new December shows were in the archives for the site, just not your show with Steve Taylor.

Hopefully any technical glitches will get ironed out ... if not this year ... perhaps sometime next year . :? ;)

If not ironed out, Tony, you'll just have to do another show with Steve Taylor even at the risk of each of you experiencing one degree or another of "show deja vu", if you do. :D

I do hope any technical hurdles are overcome and the show indeed does get posted.

Here's wishing you a Happy New Year and all the best for 2012 !
