Interview with Tessa Dick

Philip K Dick is recognised as being one of the greatest science fiction writers of the 20th century. However there is much more to his stories than 'mere fiction'. In novels such as VALIS and UBIK Dick describes a structure of both inner and outer space that is pure itladian. Indeed it seems that the man himself experienced virtually every psychological state described in Anthony Peake's books. Indeed in one of his most curious books "Counter Clock World" Dick creates a character called "Anarch Peak". Is this significant or simply a coincidence? This section of the forum is to discuss the writings of this great man and to place his work and life within the structure of CTF/ITLAD

Interview with Tessa Dick

Postby Anthony Peake » Thu May 27, 2010 8:12 am

For all you fans of Philip K Dick something that really will be unmissable we be recorded tonight. I will be recording a three way conversation with fellow FORUM members Miguel Conner and Tessa Dick for Miguel's radio station Aeon Byte. This will be the latest addition to the ongoing "Schrodinger's Diary" archive.

Tessa, as many of you will know, is the widow of the great science fiction writer and esoteric philosopher Philip K Dick. We will be discussing Phil's theophany that took place in March 1974 from the viewpoint of somebody who witnessed it forst hand, Tessa herself. We will be placing these events within an itladian perspective and see what we come up with.

This will be really exciting radio and really is not to be missed. It will be available to listen to in a few days time.

Can't wait to hear this. Am a big fan of Dick's work and he was clearly writing from a very similar view point to the ITLADian perspecive.

Have a great show guys.
