The Hypnagogic Light Experience

A few weeks ago I received an email from an American artist by the name of Patty Ray Avalon. (http://www.avalonart.net/)

Patty lives in Virginia and she had heard my interview with William Henry that was broadcast on Whitley Strieber's Unknown Country podcast. Patty produces CD's for the Monroe Institute and is fascinated by how Hemi-Sync can assist in the development of creative abilities. She was fascinated by the things I discussed with William and asked if she could send me her CD set called Inner States - Dawning of Awareness. She explained to me that two sections of this CD may be of interest to me. The first, called "The Limitless Self", seems to be a specifically designed set of audio signals that use hemispheric synchronisation to facilitate contact with our "Higher Self" (i.e. The Daemon). The second, called "Accessing Higher Guidance " is about tapping into the Akashic Record.

Yesterday I received the package and this morning I decided to listen to the first CD.

Within about ten minutes of listening I was moved into quite a deep state of meditation and suddenly a very familiar sensation began, the strange vibrational movement in the centre of my forehead that I first experienced after my encounter with Lucia in Switzerland last year. This was really odd but for me of profound significance. Whatever Lucia does with light it is identical, for me anyway, with what Hemi-Sync does with sound.

I am convinced that if these two processes were used together something extremely profound would be experienced.

It is now an hour after my encounter with Hemi-Sync and the little snake that has been manifest in my "Third Eye" is still moving around with great determination........

Tony: I've ordered the CD's referenced and I'll be most interested to listen to them when they arrive to see what I might experience.

Perhaps you'll have a chance to try the two together ( Lucia 3 and the Hemi-Sync ) at the upcoming conference or at least while the Lucia 3 light might be available.

Hi MAC,

Interested to see what you make of this. I find it very interesting. My difficulty is concentrating on the sounds as my mind tends to wander all over the place. I think I would be hopless at meditation!

Thanks again for all your support over the years. It really is appreciated. As soon as I finish my next book I will be settling down to read the Aster Barnwell books you have kindly sent me.

The event tomorrow is really building up to be something quite special. There are only 50 tickets left which suggests that 450 have already been sold. I finished off my new presentation yesterday and I am really quite pleased as to how it is looking.

The whole event will be filmed and placed on a DVD. I am informed that a DVD of each lecture will be available for purchase directly from the organisers. I will post something as soon as I know details.

You also may be interested to know that in a few week's time a DVD of my Glastonbury Symposium lecture will be available. This is of particular interest not just because of the talk but also the 45 minute question and answer section at the end ......

It is good to be on the right thread this time!
If you get a chance to order Wave1 and Wave2 of the Hemi-Sync Gateway Series, it may help you establish a bit more of a foundation through the use of 'focus markers'. This is based on a lot of the work that Tom was originally doing with Dennis and Bob back in the 70's, although I am uncertain if they had 'focus levels' at that point in time.

The benefit of the wave CD's (which forms a subset of the 'Gateway Series') is that it is more systematic regarding the tools that it utilizes to interface you to the larger system. This may be useful if you are trying to develop a consistent interface to such system, adopt a scientific approach and may not actually have the free time to join the band wagon and do Gateway as much as we would all like.

By the way, are you aware of any movements with such commercial deployments of Lucia?
