Dr. Fred Alan Wolf - The Dreaming Universe!

Hi Everyone,

I received an e-mail today from Dr. Fred Alan Wolf in response to my Abstract on Deja Vu. My introduction to his work has been strictly media based through videos on YouTube, the Secret, What the Bleep etc. Thankfully, he replied and brought my attention to his writings such as a book entitled, "The Dreaming Universe" which for all intensive purposes would be a book that I would automatically snatch up and read with grand enthusiasm.

Well, suffice to say after a bit of a scolding from him as he pointed out that much of my abstract is covered in a broad range of his works; thankfully too I might add. I raced to my public library in hopes that some of his books would indeed be here. Penticton is a small town, so we do have limited numbers of books and only two of his reside kindly on the shelves.

In my possession is, "The Dreaming Universe" and "Parallel Universes" and already scrambling through the chapters of "The Dreaming Universe" I can only say... why oh why did I miss this book? It was written in 1994 and clearly at bookstores and libraries the title never jumped out and caught my attention.

Why do I like this book and I have only read the chapter indexes:

1.) It talks about a "Dreaming Universe".
2.) Touches on Precognition and telepathy.
3.) Provides virtual reality conjecture with dreams ( a big component of my book ).
4.) Covers Lucid Dreaming.
5.) Touches on the "Big Dreamer" (Tony's Daemon no doubt).

In further disclosure by Dr. Wolf, he presented me a list of publications that are online on his website. I will bring to your attention Page 2 and please scroll down to the bottom where all the real treasure lies ;P

I knew that I liked him as Dr. Quantum, but now I have to admit I love him for writing a book on Dreams! How wonderful!

Hopefully you have had a chance to look at his book Tony as already I can tell it's loaded to the brim with thought invoking goodness.

Here are some interesting Synchronicities that I just have to point out.

1.) His website uses Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night as the border trim. I also use it on the first chapter of my book for specific interests as the pareidolia in the painting reminds me of the daemon looking in at Vincent as he paints.
2.) His book entitled the Dreaming Universe coincides with a picture I did as a tribute, google: "Ian Wilson Dreaming Universe" and it's the first link.
3.) His 1985 Omni magazine article on Quantum Consciousness coincides with my awakening with Stephen LaBerge's OMNI magazine article which kick started my lucid dreaming adventure hence where I am today as a result.

It feels good to even just hold this book in my hands. Wonderful stuff within it's pages for sure.

Many things are new to me; books; people; ideas ... including the work of Dr. Wolf.

Thanks for this posting, and a great introduction to Dr. Wolf's work.

I was in touch with him about two years ago. I think that I was asking him if it was okay if I used his "Twin Slit" video from "Captain Quantum" as part of my lecture on quantum physics. He kindly agreed.

I am sure that Dr. Wolf would be quite interested in the things we discuss here.

Maybe if you could point him in this direction .......
