Cheating the Ferryman, Is there Life After Death, The Daemon.

This is the forum for all who are interested in the theory of what may happen to consciousness at the point of death as explained in the books 'Is There Life After Death - The Extraordinary Science Of What Happens When You Die' and The Daemon.

spirals, shamanism, synchronicity

This section exists to facilitate discussion about the links between ITLAD/CTF and two of the oldest philosophical traditions on the planet - Shamanism and Huna. Shamanism is arguably the oldest mystery tradition in the world. Cave paintings from paleolithic times show figures involved in Shamanistic rituals that can still be found today among many traditional cultures. These traditions also contain profound ideas about the relationship between the human mind and external reality. Huna is one of the original arts and sciences of healing and spiritual development and is a part of the original teachings of the peoples of the earth which were centered in Hawaii on a continent which now, no longer exists. All that remains physically of that land are the mountain peaks of the island chain called Hawaii.

I thought that your daemon was showing you, that you were on a good way into your spiritual quest and in your life.

I appreciate this thought as well as your other ideas. One would like to create positive meaning from startling coincidences such as seeing someone you once knew very well, in what seems like another lifetime, in a place you would not expect. I wonder if an experience like this is meant to provide a lesson of some sort. The experience has forced me to confront some of my thinking that I might not have done otherwise. I do appreciate this experience for the sense of wonder it does instill in me. I recently listened to Matthew Fox and Rupert Sheldrake in discussion, and very much appreciated Fox's ideas, in particular his recommendation we get in touch with this sense of wonder. How dead we are without it.

Thanks for that link. My memory of those posts was a bit faint, and it was good to revisit them.

My pleasure, Ruth. The concept of The Spiral of Time may well be something I talk about during the interview on Friday. I'll reference you if I do so.

aloha Ruth et al

lovely post, thank you for sharing

there could be many meanings, and as usual your meaning is the most important for you.

Interestingly I have recently been receiving via my intution, powerful energy symbols which purport to arise from what esoteric folk call Lemuria, and the most powerful version of the spiral I've felt/experienced so far is a Vortex of Time, although the energies are insistent that time does not exist, nor indeed space.

In fact when I asked does this symbol go in the east they ROFL as 'there is no east' they said. Can't say I know who 'they' are, as this is the first time I have ever received/downloaded such information before. Or we could agree its my imagination/creativity, either way it is fascinating waiting for next instalment.

Karl you'll not be surprised to find that our friend Andy was most fascinated too when I showed these to him in Glastonbury where he now lives. Maybe an excuse for a quaff perhaps?

Hi Gary,

Fascinating chat today in Chester. I was particularly interested in the Shamanistic training you were involved in last week. Amazing stuff and so central to what we are trying to do on this FORUM.

Best Wishes

Tony
