Cheating the Ferryman, Is there Life After Death, The Daemon.

This is the forum for all who are interested in the theory of what may happen to consciousness at the point of death as explained in the books 'Is There Life After Death - The Extraordinary Science Of What Happens When You Die' and The Daemon.

Audiobooks

Philip K Dick is recognised as being one of the greatest science fiction writers of the 20th century. However there is much more to his stories than 'mere fiction'. In novels such as VALIS and UBIK Dick describes a structure of both inner and outer space that is pure itladian. Indeed it seems that the man himself experienced virtually every psychological state described in Anthony Peake's books. Indeed in one of his most curious books "Counter Clock World" Dick creates a character called "Anarch Peak". Is this significant or simply a coincidence? This section of the forum is to discuss the writings of this great man and to place his work and life within the structure of CTF/ITLAD

I have (i believe) 17 Philip K Dick audiobooks. I'll take requests in the form of replys or PM's or any way you can figure out to get in touch with me. I desperately needed to absorb the material from VALIS one day and stumbled upon them all. I blame the pink beam. Cheers

[Edit: These are not official audiobooks, they are personal recordings by various people.]

Welcome, Idaydream. and thank you for your kind offer. However we are a little concerned about any copywrite issues that may arise from this. As you (and the members of this Forum) will be aware, certain documents such as pdf's of books and suchlike are covered by copywrite in exactly the same way as normal books are. As such any distribution of copywrite material may infringe these rights.

As such may I suggest that you check out the terms by which you originally purchased this material to ensure that you have the right to electronically redistribute in this way. For example Philip K Dick's widow, Tessa, is a member of this Forum and may not be too happy with Phil's audio books being distributed in this way.

We are sure that you are making this offer with the best of intentions but we must point out that this offer has nothing in any way to do with this Forum or the Anthony Peake website and as such any legal liability will be on those offering, and those taking up, any such offers.

Best Wishes

Duly noted. These are all personal recordings of fans reading the books. If this is illegal I rescind my offer.

Idaydream,

I think that your offer is a very kind and generous one. If the material is legal then I am sure that many of your fellow forumites will be delighted to take up your offer.
