A couple more

Thursday I was working (or at work) as normal. I decided upon returning with food to the office at lunch that I would watch a few You Tube videos. I decided to watch a few Derren Brown clips and then after a couple of others ended up on Penn from Penn and Teller arguing with that pretentious smug idiot Piers Morgan about atheism. My co-worker Christian, was shocked as I told him what I was watching, he too had got to this video by watching the previous couple, started with a Derren Brown video about NLP.

Now we do work together so we are in synch a lot and he actually did something extremely nice for me around this time and gave me credit for something i didn't do. I've always heard that if you are in synch with somebody you are more likely to do that.

The second one was a small coincidence. Thought about a guy I haven't seen in about a decade on saturday, sunday (yesterday) I saw him in town and said hi. Chances, yeah can happen but I still find it very odd as I haven't thought about him in a decade either. He's just a friend of a friend and not somebody I really know that well. Why would he pop into my head only to see him the next day? Very strange indeed.

In my opinion these small coincidences have significance. we dismiss them all to easily. Having just written a chapter for a forthcoming book on Synchronicity I am particularly interested in the small-time coincidences like the ones you have kindly shared with us.

Of course the meeting with somebody after having an spontaneous recollection of them the day before gives support to the ITLAD hypothesis that you "remembered" the meeting from an earlier reun in the BIMAX......
