For as long as i can remember the time 11.11 always seems to be the time when i glance at a clock, it started when everytime i glanced at my watch it was 11.11. I thought nothing more of it until it started happening when i was driving then on my mobile phone and so on.All this happened without me consciously checking the time, my eyes were and still are drawn to these numbers.I have checked this out on google and a number of sites including Spiritguardians.com claim a celestial being/angel/spirit is trying to get my attention.Uri Geller also started having this experience a few years ago, he thought it was coincidence until he posted it on his web page.He was inundated with hundreds of emails from around the world.He delved more into this and he thinks by having the 11.11 experience have some type of mission to accomplish.George Barnard,founding member of 1111spiritguardians.com claims the 11.11 phenomenon is a wake up call to take responsibility for who you are.
Could it be the Daemon? and why 11.11. It would be good to hear if anyone on the forum has encountered this.

I have not had that experience, but I actually read about someone who had that same experience, with the number, 11:11. I would say it is trying to tell you something, for certain. Perhaps number 1 being a beginning, and 4 x being quaternity or wholeness.

Yes, I've had that regularly, and also 21.21.
I was never sure if it was 'selective perception' in that these numbers may have stood out in the memory more than others perhaps, but I know for definite that I haven't had the same thing with say 20.20 or 10.10.

Thanks for the feedback guys this has been interesting me for a while now and it is surprising how many people do experience it but don't say anything. I just decided one day to delve into it more and was shocked at how many it does affect.

Apart from my dear sweet Emma dying on 11th November I can't say I have any 11.11 stories or this whole experience myself.

Obviously I would put most of it down to Pattern-Finding, Kangaroo Paradox, post-hoc reasoning and Confirmation Bias BUT these account only for a portion of the occurrences.

What must be asked then is, what is the reason for the remainder?

When Jo and I see you and Kathy on the evening of the 17th Dave, I'll see if you notice 11:11 while we are lolling in some Liverpool tavern somewhere, although there is a large possibility that you will be in no fit state by then!

Taking an ITLADic stance I suppose it could be suggested that in your past life it was at the time of 11:11 that you died, so your Daemon is very aware of that which creeps into Eidolonic consciousness on occasion!

Just a thought!

Coincidence and 11:11

As I read the last post I looked at my computer clock and it was 19.19. Myself and Dave have discussed this happening quite a bit but with myself I notice it is always 06.06 or 11.11 or 05.05. There doesn't seem to be a reason as far I can tell but I have been pretty spooked at times as it happens quite a lot! I too would love to know if there is a reason for this or if it is just a strange coincidence!

What is also scary is that there are 3 karl's on the picture above! OMG a 4th taking the picture? looking forward to catching up with all 4 of you and Jo on the 17th! ps your round AGAIN Karl HAHA!

Conspiracy Theorists may now make a film (or the genius that is Robert Rankin may write a book) around the plot that a new young temp, working for Clarke Jeffries Insurance Brokers of Hereford, concocted the whole 2012 Mayan Mystery by a fiendishly clever combination of scaremongering and ternary base mathematics (with the obvious assistance of the brains behind the plan, one Clarke Jeffries, Professor of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Toronto), in order to increase their sales of insurance, to those scared that 2012 will mean the literal end of the whole of civilisation, in order to hit their targets and be offered a full-time job (starring Sandra Bullock)
